| i thought id be moving out of the state at the end of the year and possibly out of the country but i have opted to at stay in texas and there was only one city i would stay in....austin. im going back to the city of 6th st, live music, the capital of the greatest country in the world and of course the texas longhorns. im not biased, im just telling it like it is.

| palin about comments mocking her http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVK0qXVJKmM
explain to me what she just said. im not sure if a palin dictionary could help me. not ready for primetime again. the end.
this will probably be my last entry on palin as i am saying the same thing about her...incompetent and unqualified.
in other news, i went to austin this past weekend and saw the mizzou v. texas game on the field. thanks to the hook ups of dc, i was like 5 ft from colt mccoy, mack brown, major applewhite, derek jeter, roger clemens, and most importantly minka kelly
can't believe derek jeter is dating her. if you don't know who she is, she is on the tv show friday night lights. oh yeah i saw the mizzou QB and he ate a box of twinkies and ding dongs before the game started.
also went to a concert, featuring ingrid michaelson, priscilla ahn, erin mccarley, meiko, and laura jansen. pretty chill venue on 6th st and enjoyed the concert a lot. i usually don't do the "fan" stuff like get autographs and pics mainly bc i dont get that opportunity a lot but bc its a lot of trouble for jocking on somebody. however, i did it bc they are cute girls heres the proof- me with meiko:
purposefully unclear. i am fat in pictures. i look better in real life

| debates don't change peoples minds. it just make you angrier at the other candidate. mccain is surprisingly more annoying during the debates with his condescending smirk to obama's answers/responses. just look at his face when obama talks. obama has pretty detailed political responses to the economy, health care, and foreign affairs unlike mccain who nitpicks obama's answers and takes things out of context. such as the back and forth exchange on taxing the american people, obama would say 95% of the people will not see an increase in taxes and then mccain would immediately say obama will raise your taxes. what is mccain doing? i think he is desperate to get anything he can get because he is behind in the polls. ironically, i was rooting for mccain during the primaries when he was behind and obviously got the nomination, but i think it got worse when he chose palin to be the vp candidate. well, initially it was better before it got worse because i think many "normal" Americans identify with Palin, however, she talks so much trash for someone that can't back it up.
i just googled "mccain smirk" to find a picture of mccain's smirk and was semi-surprised on all the entries that came up. i guess i'm not alone on this smirk thing which i think might be hurting him in the polls because it seemed he only developed it during the since he got the republican nomination.
oh, i couldnt really find a good smirk picture but there are some youtube clips which i wont post up here.
if the election was today, obama would win.
i finally got my voter registration card changed to the county i currently reside in and will be voting november 4th for the first time and even though most of texas is probably going to vote for mccain, i will still vote. boo for electoral college. dang it.

| i had some words to say about the vp debate that happened last week but im going to keep it simple: palin did about what i expected. no flubs like she had with couric. many people has said she isn't ready for primetime and she isn't at that level yet. also, people also say she took control of the debate by saying what she wanted and when she wanted. she said what she wanted like when biden answered a question and palin was suppose to give a rebuttal but wanted to keep talking about a topic other than the one being spoken that is called rehearsed. it was so annoying but she definitely seemed more comfortable than in previous showings. if you listen to what she actually said in her response to questions, she lacked substance! it would take her 2-3 sentences of roundabout babbling to get to her actual answer and her actual answer would be so general. i honestly could be just as successful in the debate than her bc just like her i babble nonsense with no substance when i get nervous in front of people. i can offer up the same general statements with no real meaning and you may believe i have real answers. i would take mccain, obama, or biden over palin. however, this race isn't about palin but people believe she is a woman, a good looking woman as matter as fact, and a mom then it makes her qualified to be vp. when asked during the debate about vp duties she didnt really seem to know the job of the vp. vp really has no power and i honestly think if mccain wins there will be no consulting palin. palin will have no say in the mccain administration.
ok this turned out to be longer than expected, im ending this now
